Four Mukhi Rudraksha: The Divine Form of Lord Brahma
Scriptural References
In the Shiva Mahapurana (Part I, Vidyeshwar Samhita, Chapter 25, Verse 68) it is mentioned that the Four-Faced Rudraksha is the very form of Lord Brahma. This Rudraksha is powerful enough to absolve even the sin of Brahmahatya (the greatest sin of taking a Brahmana’s life). Merely by seeing or touching it, one quickly attains the four Purusharthas of life Dharma (righteousness), Artha (wealth), Kama (desires), and Moksha (liberation).
Similarly, in the Shrimad Devi Bhagavata Mahapurana (Book II, Skandha XI, Chapter IV, Verse 13) it is described that the Four Mukhi Rudraksha is the embodiment of Lord Brahma himself, and it removes even the sin of Nara-badha.
From these scriptures it is evident that the Four Mukhi Rudraksha is not just a sacred bead, but the living symbol of Lord Brahma, guiding the wearer towards purity, wisdom, and ultimate liberation.
Spiritual Significance of Four Mukhi Rudraksha
The Four Mukhi Rudraksha is regarded as the divine form of Lord Brahma, the Creator. It makes the four pillars of life Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha accessible and harmonious for the wearer.
It strengthens and enriches the journey of the soul, helping the seeker develop self-awareness, wisdom, and balance. In meditation and spiritual practices, it nurtures clarity and inner stability, maintaining harmony in all aspects of life.
