Five Mukhi Rudraksha: The Form of Kalagni Rudra
Scriptural References
In the Shiva Mahapurana (Part I, Vidyeshwar Samhita, Chapter 25, Verse 69-70) and in the Shrimad Devi Bhagavata Mahapurana (Book II, Skandha XI, Chapter IV, Verse 14), the description of the Five Mukhi Rudraksha is found:
The Five-Faced Rudraksha is the embodiment of Kalagni Rudra. This Rudraksha is all-powerful, the giver of liberation to all, and fulfills every desire of the heart. It also frees one from all sins arising out of prohibited relationships.
From these scriptures, it is clear that the Five Mukhi Rudraksha is not merely a sacred bead, but the living symbol of Lord Shiva in his Kalagni Rudra form.
